Experienced, High-Quality Counseling
I believe everybody needs a little help sometimes, and that the tools for change and healing lie within us. We each know best how to heal ourselves, although there may be times when we need a little help discovering what the path to fulfillment looks like. My goal is to empower others to discover their own solutions. I feel the stories we tell ourselves about our lives are very important, and therapy can help us rewrite our narrative in order to create a happier ending. I believe body, mind, and spirit work together to create our overall health, and all three must be addressed in order to create a healthy whole.
You should always feel safe in therapy, and I want you to know that your confidentiality is of the utmost importance to me. I want everyone I come in contact with to feel cared about, respected and acknowledged. I also work hard to create a warm and inviting space, a place of sanctuary, connection, and understanding. In addition to regular business hours, I am also available nights and weekends for those with full schedules.
I use a secure online booking system so you can schedule an appointment or check my availability whenever you want. Simply click the blue "Book online" button above. If you have any questions, you can send me a confidential e-mail by clicking "Contact" above. This will open a new window in your browser.
I have a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from George Fox University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology-Sociology from Wesleyan University. I am a licensed professional counselor with the State of Oregon (license #C2671), a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a certified Substance Abuse Professional. I have worked in the field of mental health since 1999.
